Bone Pile

It's not everyday you run across what's left of a rockpile with a bone in it.

    I wonder about this. I have found two deer skulls at an important (to me) site. Also a pig skull. Any thoughts on this?

    I've wondered about this also. Considering how sacred animals were to the Indians - and how they felt the need to honor the spirit of the dead animal. They used everything possible from the kill - so why not use a bone as an offering.
