Part 1 - Low to the Ground Wall - Decker Avenue
With 3 feet of snow on the ground as I speak and with 5" to 10" more on the way tomorrow. I'll have to throw some more archive photo's on. This very low to the ground wall is located just off of Decker Avenue - right before you make the turn to go to the transmitter.
Considering there are two other walls like this nearby. I don't see this as field clearing or what possible use it could have in farming.
There are 3 walls all together just off of Decker (about 2500' up)that snake their way down a steep ravine. You can see more on another wall at the same site here.

Beautiful Old Oak Tree on a Snowy Morn
I took these pictures around 6:30 this morning as I was walking around Morrellville checking out all the snow. This oak tree is one of my favorites and it's the one I see the most since it's right by my house.
Look at the size of her trunk. She's got to be at least 150 to 200 years old, if not older. Imagine all that tree has witnessed in past two centuries. Thought it's probably hard to tell, there is at least 20" of snow that has fallen since yesterday.

Laurel Ridge Webcam - Before and After
What a difference a day makes. This picture was taken friday at 9:31 AM just as it started snowing.
Now check out this picture taken this morning at 9:46 AM. And it's still not done snowing.
