These couple of rockpiles are on the hillside above my house. This first picture might be kind of hard to make out. Shooting low, leaf covered rockpiles can be kind of tricky. In fact there are at least 5 rockpiles in this area - but only two piles look good on camera.
Came upon this larger one - the rockpiles on this side of the mountain are made up of smaller stones - since the larger ones are not available.
A closeup and better look - it's a very nice size.
A very nice vista view - St. Clair Road would be down the bottom of the hillside.
Going up higher - ran across this cairn.
Another rockpile right by the cairn.
And another smaller one.
Very nice. I think it might be nice to clean some of those domed ones.
